Study Title | Identification of fatty acids which form triglycerides in TgLC mouse serum |
Study Summary | We found significant changes in lipid metabolites, notably triglycerides (TGs), were observed in TgLC mice with TAM injection compared with TgL mice with TAM injection under both the fed and fasted conditions. To further identify the fatty acids which form TGs, we performed MS2 to do lipid annotation. |

Collection:
Collection ID: | CO002948 |
Collection Summary: | Whole blood was collected and centrifuged at 9000 rpm for 10 minutes. The supernatant is serum. Serum was then stored at -80 °C. |
Sample Type: | Blood (serum) |
Treatment:
Treatment ID: | TR002964 |
Treatment Summary: | TgL and TgLC mice were injected with Tamoxifen under the fed and fasted conditions. |
Sample Preparation:
Sampleprep ID: | SP002961 |
Sampleprep Summary: | For lipidomic metabolites extraction, 10 μL serum were mixed with 75 μL methanol and 250 μL Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE). After shaking for 6 minutes at 4 °C, 62 μL H2O was added and followed by centrifugation for 2 minutes. Supernatants were dried down for further analysis. |
