Flies ST:STUDY_SUMMARY of each diet were flash frozen in liquid nitrogen as sated (refed for 3hrs on ST:STUDY_SUMMARY 400mM D-glucose) or after fasting for 24hrs. Heads and bodies were separated ST:STUDY_SUMMARY using a sieve-system and placed immediately on dry ice (total time app. 1min).
