The systems were controlled by Agilent SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY G2201AA ChemStation software version B.03.01 for CE (Agilent Technologies) and SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY connected by a fused silica capillary (50 μm i.d. × 80 cm total length) with SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY commercial electrophoresis buffer (H3301-1001 and H3302-1021 for cation and SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY anion analyses, respectively, HMT) as the electrolyte. The spectrometer was SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY scanned from m/z 50 to 1,000. Peaks were extracted using MasterHands, automatic SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY integration software (Keio University, Tsuruoka, Yamagata, Japan) in order to SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY obtain peak information including m/z, peak area, and migration time (MT)43. SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY Signal peaks corresponding to isotopomers, adduct ions, and other product ions SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY of known metabolites were excluded, and remaining peaks were annotated according SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY to the HMT metabolite database based on their m/z values with the MTs. Areas of SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY the annotated peaks were then normalized based on internal standard levels and SP:SAMPLEPREP_SUMMARY sample volumes in order to obtain relative levels of each metabolite. #CHROMATOGRAPHY CH:CHROMATOGRAPHY_SUMMARY CEMS conducted by Basic Scan package of Human Metabolome 239 Technologies (HMT) CH:CHROMATOGRAPHY_TYPE Other CH:INSTRUMENT_NAME Agilent 6210 CH:COLUMN_NAME Agilent capillary electrophoresis system #ANALYSIS AN:ANALYSIS_TYPE MS #MS MS:INSTRUMENT_NAME Agilent 6210 TOF MS:INSTRUMENT_TYPE CE-TOFMS MS:MS_TYPE Other MS:ION_MODE UNSPECIFIED MS:MS_COMMENTS The spectrometer was scanned from m/z 50 to 1,000.
