Project Title: | GC-MS Metabolomics Reproducibility Study |
Project Type: | Reproducibility |
Project Summary: | Human male serum, human female serum and pooled human male+female serum samples were prepared (extracted and derivatized) daily on three separate days. Samples were analyzed by GC-TOF-MS (Agilent 7890A gas chromatogram and Leco Pegasus IV time of flight mass spectrometer). Metabolomics analysis was performed on a total 135 serum samples to evaluate the GC-MS Metabolomics platform for its reproducibility in sample preparation and the intraday (daily) and interday (day to day) reproducibility of the instrument. |
