Project Title:Bromeliad lipidomics for adaptation to elevation
Project Type:MS untargeted analysis
Project Summary:Untargeted analysis on Bromeliades leaf samples. The aim of this study was to evaluate the lipid profile alterations on Pitcairnia flammea leaves based on the different altitudes where they were collected. A lipidomic approach was applied to the samples. Ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (UHPLC-ESI-MS) was used to acquire raw data and MS-DIAL was used to perform data preprocessing. The statistical analysis of UHPLC-ESI-MS data in both ionization modes enabled the visualization of a trend distribution based on the altitude.
