Project Summary:The goal of this study is the use metabolomics to probe the role of BCAA metabolism in the apthogenisis of insulin-resistance associated with HIV-infection/ART. We will also quantify the plasma levels of 2-HBA in HIV-infected, ART -treated patients. These patients were substratified into obese or lean subjects
