| Sampleprep Summary: | Briefly, for plasma samples, 95 µl of plasma was mixed with 5 µl of isotope standards mix and extracted with 400 µl of pre-cold extraction buffer containing methanol/acetonitrile (50/50, v/v). The mixture was incubated on ice for 30 min and centrifuged for 10 min at 16,000 g and 4 ºC. The supernatant containing both polar and nonpolar metabolites was transferred to new tubes and stored at -80 ºC for metabolomic analysis |
