Collection Summary: | Blood samples were collected before the morning feeding from the jugular vein of all animals using vacutainer tubes. Samples were allowed to clot at 25°C for 2 h and all tubes were then centrifuged at 2000 × g at 4°C for 15 min to separate serum. Serum was pipetted into 2 mL tubes and stored at -80°C for further analysis. |
